Hello! I'm Colleen! I truly love what I do & consider myself lucky, honored and privileged to be able to work with individuals in this capacity!
Within my practice, I work with individuals as a Licensed Massage Therapist, an Institute for Integrative Nutrition Certified Health Coach and a Level II Certified Reiki Practitioner. When I'm not at my practice I am teaching massage therapy as an instructor at Spa Tech Institute!
I’m proud and grateful to bring extensive schooling from the Professional Massage Therapy Program at Cortiva Institute of Boston; the Institute of Integrative Nutrition Health Coach Training Program, as well as Salem State University.
I focus on creating client-centered treatments involving both basic and advanced approaches to help meet your goals & address your issue/areas of concern.
I had the wonderful opportunity to spend my early massage years honing my skills at private practices in the area including, Zen Muscular Therapy in Woburn and The Way Massage Therapy in Stoneham. I've had my own private practice for six years right in Wakefield center .
My experience includes working with individuals who are in chronic pain and/or tension as well as those recovering from surgical interventions (knee and hip replacements as well as cervical and other spinal cord operations), cortisone injections, herniated discs, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff issues/dysfunction, carpal tunnel syndrome, piriformis syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome, IT band issues, plantar fasciitis, chronic migraines, as well as those seeking massage therapy to compliment and/or alleviate the symptoms of chiropractic care. I am also pleased to have vast experience with deep tissue, relaxation & prenatal massage, in addition to cupping therapy and Reiki.
